Fashionistas have rushed to purchase a knit dress from Target Australia causing the midi-length ensemble to sell out in a number of sizes.
The $45 Lily Loves Knit Midi Dress, which is currently on sale in all four colourways for $33.75, is the perfect 'essentials' dress for summer, and appears to have hit all the write fashion notes for customers.
The dress can be purchased in brown, lilac, cream and lime green in sizes XXS to XXXL and closely resembles a number of variations rocked by the queen of midi length dresses herself Kim Kardashian.

Instagram influencer Life of Georgia was pleasantly surprised by the quality and fit of the dress, after she purchased it in the lilac shade and posted a video to social media putting together her 'budget look'.
'Love your work Target,' one happy commenter wrote beneath Georgia's video, while another said 'These dresses are amazing' and 'Come and get this entire outfit with me! Bag included. We can match.'

The Target viral dress has flown out of the doors with most of the sizes sold out just days after it was posted online, with customers already asking when it will be restocked.
It features a singlet-like design, perfect for the warmer months, and a keyhole cut out in the back for when you want to show off some skin.
Some customers did caution that the fabric is delicate so best kept away from jewellery to avoid snagging it.
Others also made mention that it 'runs a little bit small' so it might be worth sizing up.
